"I Was Chased By A Lesbian Lecturer"- Nollywood Actress, Ruth Kadiri

Fast rising Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, has revealed that she was wooed and chased by a lesbian lecturer while in school at the University of Lagos.

The pretty actress said after being stalked severally by the female lecturer, she had to befriend the woman's daughter before respite came her way.

"The lecturer (name withheld) was not that extreme about her secret desire but made it clear what she wanted… I became friends with her daughter and that was the way out
for me," the actress said in an interview with www.icampusng.com.

Ruth who condemned lesbianism said she cannot imagine dating a fellow woman as it "immoral and ungodly".
Speaking on who is her ideal man and if she can date a poorer guy, Ruth replied, ''I have dated a poor guy before even when I myself was broke, although I wasn't really broke.
Money is not a factor; a guy who has certain quality should able to feed his family.''

The actress and scriptwriter, who studied Business Administration and Mass Communication at the Yaba College of Technology and University of Lagos respectively, also confirmed that she is in a relationship which she honestly prays leads to marriage.

Ruth who is also known as Puchu has featured in several movies including Heart of a Fighter, Sincerity and recently released Uche Jombo's movie, entitled Unconditional

Before he was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer in May,Rowden Go Pangcoga was  planning his dream wedding to Leizl and the union was set for July.
His brother Hasset who posted the video which went viral, said his brother's dying wish had been to marry Leizl and, 'after 12 hours of preparations, his dream was fulfilled'.:

'Unable to take him outside the hospital, we brought the church to him.'Just 10 hours after their celebrated their marriage with family and friends, Rowden lost his fight against cancer.

'World's Sexiest Convict' Jeremy Meeks begs judge to remove his shackles & give him designer clothes

Dubbed "World's sexiest convict"Jeremy Meeks who caused a storm last week with his viral mug shot is said to be taking his new found fame seriously ..He is reportedly asking for designer clothes so he could look more appealing to possible brands.. TMZ reports

 Jeremy Meeks might be taking this "I'm a model" thing a little too seriously ... he now wants the judge to greenlight custom-fitted clothing for court ... seriously. In new docs, filed by attorney Tai Bogan, Meeks requests, "that measures be taken so he may wear civilian clothing that is fitting for his body structure."
Apparently, dude thinks he's built like Tyson Beckford. Clearly, Meeks thinks powerful fashion people may be watching ...  and god forbid he looks like a schlub.  He also wants the judge to let him take off the shackles in court -- "shackles can interfere with Mr. Meek's ability to communicate with his lawyer."

Meanwhile, there are reports some notable  agents are trying to sign him hoping his charges are dropped..

28 year old Olympian and five-time U.S. national champion Alysia Montano ran an 800m race at the Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California, yesterday and people are now questioning if it's safe. 

Alysia received a standing ovation after completing the race in 2 minutes, 32.13 seconds, 35 seconds slower than her personal best of 1:57.34, which she smashed back in 2010 in a race in Monaco.

"I've been running throughout my pregnancy and I felt really, really good during the whole process.' Alysia said after the race...

Iran bans women from watching the World Cup

Authorities in Iran banned women from entering most sporting events following the 1979 Islamic Revolution because mixed crowds enjoying games was deemed un-Islamic.

According to CNN,for the past 35 years, the crowds at football games, Iran's most popular sport have been all male.Iranian women were briefly allowed to attend volleyball matches during the presidency of moderate Mohammad Khatami but the ban was reinstated in 2005 when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came to power.
In an apparent effort to avoid mixed crowds watching this year's World Cup, authorities warned restaurants not to broadcast games.The president of the Coffee Shop Owners Union told ISNA news agency that

“we have told our members that during the World Cup games they must either turn the TV off or switch to a channel which is not broadcasting the games.”
